Yard Sale Table

Brendan was always looking for a way to make money. Even before kindergarten. He would ask me if he could sell some of his old toys. I'd ask to see them and say yay or nay. He would always manage to come home with a couple of coins. One day while sitting in the yard he decided to take scrap wood and build his own table. A friend came by and visited a while before he asked for a drink. He asked Brendan if he could go in the house and get him a beer. Brendan did and put it on his table. When the friend took the beer Brendan told him that will be a dollar. The friend said "It's your mom's beer she said I could have it?" Brendan politely informed him "It's on my yardsale table." He got the dollar. He has a good business sense at 5 at least!
