Christopher was born 12/16/83 at 3:04 am. He was not due for another month. I was living with my mom and dad at the time. My mom and I went to do a little Christmas shopping then pick up something to eat to bring home. While in the store my water broke. Of course Grandma got nervous and wanted to leave. I told her no, I was going to the car just pay for your things and meet me out there. Then I drove to the restaurant. Mom wanted to go straight home. I said no we told dad we'd bring something home to eat. Then went home.
We did go to the hospital early in the morning when my contractions started. You came shortly after arriving. (I hate to rub it in my my contractions started at 2:16am and you arrived at 3:04am) Grandma and Grandpa couldn't wait to meet their first grandchild. Both held you with such joy. Grandpa held you and walked in circles around the room talking to you. A special bond would be formed between the two of you.
