Another thing I would tease Christopher about was when he would tell me he was hungry. He would come to me and say "mommy I'm hungry" I would ask him "didn't I just feed you!" He'd just say "no" Then we would go back and forth. "Ok, but I fed you yesterday didn't I" sometimes he'd say "no, you forgot." I replied "Ok, but I know one day last week I fed you" Poor Christopher going along with me always said "no, you didn't mommy" "well then, lets get something to eat.
I don't know how many times we went through this. And if Christopher wanted to play and I forgot he would lead and "mommy you forgot to feed me yesterday too". That's my boy!
Again, I tried this with Brendan and he wanted no part of it. When he came and said he was hungry if I replied didn't I already feed you, he knew what was coming and just went straight to "No, and you didn't feed me last week either. Oops - get the boy some food!
